How come everytime I hit my golf ball with my irons, the ball only goes around the same distance?

Filed Under (Corporate Logo Golf Balls) by admin on 24-03-2011

I used to swing with an outside to in swing which caused my ball to go to the left. Now my instructor has straightened it out but my ball only goes around 100 – 130 yards, this is really weird for me because I’m used to atleast hitting 145 for with my 7. Now its hitting like 110. I have no idea why because I am hitting down on the ball with good force and I’m using my shoulders. One thing I notice is that the ball goes up a little higher when I increase the iron. Also if it helps my driver has become alot more better, becoming more straight and further. I used to hit it about 200 now it is hitting about 225. Also if you can solve one more thing, my 5 wood I”m unable to hit straight but my driver I can? thats really weird because my 5 used to be my most consistent club. It usually goes out to the left. Any tips would be appreciated, thank you!

I always loved the Nike One Platinum ball a few years back, and I’ve heard that it’s now called Nike One Tour, but I guess another question I would have in addition to the title is, what’s the difference between the Nike One Tour and Nike One Tour D?

How to Put Spin on a Golf Ball using Golf Irons

Filed Under (Corporate Logo Golf Balls) by admin on 31-10-2010

Getting some ” spin ” on your ball with the golf irons can be a basic point of utilizing ball-to-club contact and speed of the clubhead. If you’re able to strike the golf ball and there is simply no soil or grass before the ball, subsequently you will place some type of spin on it. Striking it slightly down, you may add back spin. If you do hit a shot that travelled higher into the air, then you certainly will put some sort of spin on your golf ball. The catch is that a lot of golfers choose to boost the spin. Several types of golf irons, like sand wedges, have different results.  Reading about golf iron reviews will help you about the uses of these irons.

Trying to get the golf ball stop as fast following the spin might be a shot saver, especially when you’re smacking the ball on to firm greens or if the flag is situated right behind a sand bunker or water hazard. Adhere to a few simple tips to make sure you learn how to cause backspin on the golf ball.

    1. Position your feet closer together in comparison with the normal golf swing position.

    2. Place yourself in position to ensure the golf ball is close to the back foot.

    3. Test a pitch wedge, also known as a 60 degree pitching wedge. Your sand wedge may be used.

    4. Swing the golf club while upright.

    5. Hit the golf ball just below the region ahead of the divot spot. You need to produce a divot that is long and short in height.

    6. Make sure you follow-through normally.

Make sure that the lines on the club faces are free from debris and mud. Hitting the ball clean is very important. A small mistake in your golf swing or strike can lead to a substantial miss hit or inaccurate flight of the golf ball. It is much easier to backspin a much softer golf ball; generally 2 or 3 component balls are proclaimed as “Extra Backspin” golf balls. If you need assist while at the golf store, ask for assistance when searching for a golf club iron or ball that may increase spin. However the shot will be ideal if your golf ball has a high rate of velocity through the flight. This sort of shot is just about the hardest in golfing and ought to be practiced on the driving range before the attempt on the course.

Golf iron shafts that are weaker, graphite iron golf shafts possess more mobility and velocity, that may help promote backspin and obtain greater flights, and that is what a lot of people do not have in their their golf shots. The bottomline is you have to hit the golf ball higher to be able to obtain this kind of action you are interested in. Certain, there are times the experts hit lower backspinning balls, but that’s another technique. Whenever you might be suffering from difficulties getting a normal amount of “spin” forget about that shot. Try to hit it higher, cleanly and with increased club head speed and you’ll see the backspin your trying to find.

Realize that the golf pros tend to be hitting softer more expensive golf balls, given by vendors, in to quick and sloped greens, so they have a lot of action. In addition they use golf balls with a lot more club velocity in comparison with normal players. When you can hit the golf ball around 250 yards or far more with your driver, you should discover some spin in almost every iron shot you use. It’s normal for some shots to be transgressionally along with other kinds of shots because of the power and posture you achieve. The better you hit, the greater enhancements you ought to see.
